What type of memory card should I use, and how do I format it?

Remember to format the memory card with the device before initial use. We recommend formatting the memory card every 2-3 weeks, or once a month, to maintain efficient performance.

With loop recording, regular formatting allows your dash cam to write information more efficiently to the card. To format the memory card on the MASIGO dash cam directly, follow these steps:

1. Insert the memory card into the dash cam.

2. Connect the dash cam to a power source, and it will turn on and start recording automatically.

3. Press the menu button twice to enter the system settings.

4. Use the up and down buttons to scroll to "Format Memory Card" and press "OK" to enter the options screen.

5. Select OK, and the dash cam will format the memory card automatically.
