FP-01 is a hardwiring kit for wiring your dash cam directly to the fuse box via the 12/24V cigarette lighter power cable, which is in the package of the dash cam. It means your dash cam will turn on and switch off automatically with your car’s ignition, and the wires will be hidden under the dashboard. Also, it will free up the 12V accessory socket for other electronics.
FP-01 does not contain any low-voltage cutoff switch.
We strongly recommend connecting it to an ignition-switched-power source only.It doesn’t allow the dash cam to keep recording while the vehicle is parked.
